Helen H. Kimbrough is the author of Ocean Waves and
Other Tales and Play Dates and Other Tales. Since the release of her first multicultural children's book in
2007, Helen has committed herself to literacy initiatives for young children.
She currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and sons.

Helen's first book Ocean Waves and Other Tales is a multi-cultural collection of four stories, "Ocean Waves," "I Am Loved," "Baby Bear," and "I'm Sleepy."
These simply-told stories and their beautiful illustrations celebrate a child's connections to family, places, and special possessions. Individually and collectively, they reflect universal messages of love and acceptance that children and parents everywhere will respond to.
The attached musical CD contains fun and interesting melodies to accompany the stories and further inspires children ages newborn to five with the joy of reading and learning.

Colors," and "Play Dates" is the successful follow up to Ocean
Waves and Other Tales.These
relatable short stories contain beautiful illustrations and a musical CD.Educationally, these elements come together
to formulate fun and interesting reading for all children.
