JON
KOONS is an author of both fiction and non-fiction, children's books,
novels and short stories. He has also penned scripts, text books and
articles for periodicals.

| Jon's first childrens' book, A CONFUSED HANUKKAH was released in September of 2004 by Dutton Children's Books to become one of the most critically acclaimed and popular holiday books of the year. Reprinted four times in as many years, it is currently in preproduction in Hollywood as an animated film.

His latest book, ARTHUR AND GUEN: An Original Tale of Young Camelot [originally titled YOUNG ARTHUR AND THE MAGIC SWORD', was released in 2008 by Dutton. It has recently been released by Spoken Arts as an audio book, narrated by the author; and has been translated for publication in Korea.

Jon has written numerous theatrical scripts and screenplays, including A CHELM CHANUKKA for stage, on which his book A CONFUSED HANUKKAH is based. He has also written the preliminary script for the animated version. He is currently working on a screenplay based on his experiences in Russia adopting a son, as well as other projects.

JON KOONS is the founder and president of JestMaster Productions, Inc., formerly Jon Koons Productions, Inc., an entertainment and production company specializing in live theatrical and event production.
Jon has been dubbed "Renaissance Man" by the media. Having been on stage since childhood Jon has appeared as an actor and singer on Broadway, in Feature Films, on Television and in Commercials. Awarded the title "NYC's Plum Craziest Performer" as a Multi-Talent Variety Entertainer, Jon has performed from Atlantic City to Kenya.

worked with numerous prestigious companies such as Metropolitan Opera
Guild, The Open Book, Opera Festival of New Jersey, Boheme Opera, and
the Rogers & Hammerstein Organization.
Jon has been profiled

to the arts have been recognized in books such as Theatre World, Frantic Comedy, Reader's Theatre: What It Is and How to Stage it, The Magic Catalog and others, as well as by the United States Congress and the State of New Jersey Senate and General Assembly.
